Abstract
|

|
1) This is a case report of Wilms´ tumor in an adult which occurs very rarely in the world literature. 2) This is a ROK soldier, aged 26, presented on Aug. 3. 61.
with abdominal mass and gastric disturbances of 3 months of duration.
On laparatomy, child´s head sized tumor weighed 5 lbs showed nodular firm surface adherent to surrounding structures.
Microscopic finding was confirmed as a Wilms´tumor by pathologists.
The patient did not receive radiotherapy at pre- and post-operative periods. The post-operative course was fair until three months when the metastasis to the lung and brain, occurred and expired four months after the operation. 3) Review of the literature of the Wilms´tumor in the adult is added
